Job Description :

• Establishes contract and negotiates prices and terms with outside suppliers related to indirect commodities.
• Responsible for Capital appropriation and procurement
• Responsible for Services contract management and negotiations
• Responsible for Plant indirect material supplies like tools, jigs, fixtures, and other
  consumables.
• Develops and maintains reliable vendors / suppliers for the above supplies.
• Commodity management.
• Monitors and assesses supplier performance and advises management of new developments.
• Follows market price trends and general business activities.
• Negotiates settlements on rejected or defective material.
• Ensures timely delivery of materials.
• Adheres to purchasing policies and procedures.
• Checks and approves invoices.
• Champions multi function teams with suppliers.
• Resolves quality, delivery, service, and pricing issues.

• Optimizing defined Motion paths for Acceleration/Deceleration, Mechanical synchronization with peripheral devices.
• Servicing /Replacement of Wearing components/modular components.
• Team work, and maturity to support Sales engineers in selection of E drives/ Mechatronic Motion Solutions, is required.
• Visualizing of combinations and permutations within Company and third party components will be an added benefit.
• Understanding of Dimensioning and selection of complete solution components with preparation of drawings/ circuit and system architecture for finalizing BOM .
• Coordination and team work required with branch office for pricing.
• Ability to prepare quotation in consultation with SE/ Business Dev Mgr/ZM as per requirement and guidelines, in stipulated time.
