Position : Design Engineer – CRD/3041
Location : Pune
Qualification : B.E. Mechanical
Experience : 6 – 10 years of experience
Job Descriptions :
- Create 3-D model suitable for CAE analysis considering mesh ability and other parameters.
- Should have experience in Product design and development
- Should have good experience in Hypermesh / IDEAS / Catia
- Preparation of meshed model
- Applying boundary conditions as per IS or EUWA standard based on application of wheel rim or customer drawing.
- Solving the model in IDEAS
- Preparation of report.
- Preparation of DFMEA
- Control plan preparation and modification with respect to drawing and manufacturing process
- APQP documentation
- PPAP documentation
- New product development with regular coordinating domestic customers.
- Ensure timely development of the new product development
- Modifications in the wheel rims as per customer requirements and tracking the performance of the product
- Regular interaction with customer for upcoming projects
- Samples submission to customer
- Drawing approval follow-up with customer
- Regularization of the product
- Technical presentations to customers
- Tracking of warranty failed parts trend.
- Attending warranty meetings at customer end
- Maintaining all warranty records
- Preparation and maintaining BOM in SAP system.
- Entering all product engineering related data in system like scrap, weight etc
