Position : Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager – Water & Wastewater Treatment – CRD/2593
Location : Surat
Qualification & Experience : B.E. (Chemical / Biochemical / Civil / Environmental Engineering). Requires 5 to 8 years experience in a position equivalent to Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to have gained thorough knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, markets, customers and competitors.
Brief Summary :
- Responsible for sales and marketing activities of the Region (India).
- Applies knowledge of markets, customers and equipment to promote and sell the EWT product range into the municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment markets and meet business goals as developed.
Job Descriptions :
- Experience in the membrane based treatment technologies, like MBR, will be an advantage.
- Requires ability to read and interpret flowsheets, P&IDs, contracts, specifications and drawings.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, bidding and pricing techniques.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language on a technical level and make formal presentations.
- Must have demonstrated inter-personal, customer relations and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to independently plan and conduct successful sales programs and strategies with skills to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Plans sales strategies, tracks prospects, co-ordinates sales efforts to achieve sales targets.
- Meets with customers and consulting engineers to provide technical / sales product presentation, assess needs and propose appropriate equipment.
- Generates and present competitive process designs, equipment proposals and approves / negotiates final pricing and terms.
- Prepares forecasts and reports on sales activities.
- Develops and monitors budget for the market.
- Develops and updates knowledge of new products, modifications, market trends and competitor strategy through reading, attending / presenting at trade shows and networking.
