- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in metal work techniques and stainless steel processing is a necessary requirement
- Experience with the assembly and commissioning of pipework and of large Pressure vessels / tanks for chemicals or food industry would be ideal.
- The task of the field assembly / service department consists of the installation and commissioning of communication systems, machine tool systems, interconnected production facilities and transfer lines.
- The construction supervisor for mechanics is in constant contact with the site manager, technical departments and project management. On site the key duties and responsibilities include :
o To ensure the implementation of assembly and commissioning, particularly
o The coordination of construction site logistics (quality control on deliveries, on-site warehouse, etc.)
o Supervision of work processes and workmanship
o Control of technical workmanship of all mechanical assembly sections
o Control of construction activities
o Commissioning of mechanical assembly sections (in cooperation with the Technology commissioning team)
o Final inspection of mechanical assembly sections (in cooperation with costumer)
- Fault diagnosis
o Analysis of failures and incident
o Proposal of remedial measures, if possible execution of such measures - Preparation and completion of reports and protocols, e.g.
o Inspection of protocols and measurement reports, x-ray and seal Inspections
o Adjustment of corresponding documents such as plant plans, pipe plans, revision plans - Ensuring the compliance with safety regulations
Required knowledge and experience :
- Expert knowledge and experience in metal processing, especially stainless steel
Processing - Expert knowledge of and experience in polymer processing
- Mastery of several welding techniques :
o Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) / manual metal arc welding (MMA)
o Gas metal arc welding (MIG / MAG)
o Tungsten inert gas welding (TIG)
o Plasma arc welding
o Orbital welding - Reading and comprehension of drawings and diagrams
- Ability to instruct and implement drawings and diagrams .
