Qualification
: BE / BTECH (Electrical Engineering stream) along with Masters in Business Management, MBA (Marketing )
Experience : 12-15
years of professional experience; preferably with the product
knowledge of all ranges of products of the company.
Description:
- Accountable
to sales targets from each of the identified market segements and key
accounts; and in the past role, must have been a Key Accounts Manager
(KAM) for atleast 3 years. - Develop/review/monitor strategic Account and Category Plans, sales forecasts, and budget for key accounts in the region
- Develop
thorough understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand
strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition - Ensure
that the company is well-positioned to participate in core lists and
targeted customer briefs, articulating value proposition, and to
channelize all efforts to get the “Preferred Vendor” status for the
company to promote company’s products - Define
and deliver customer focused commercial strategy covering key account
segmentation, growth targets, business sectors, revenue & pricing
objectives and new business acquisition - Work
with Trade and Marketing to maximise business intelligence;
Identify the strategic moves of competitors and examine with
respect to the business plans and moves of the company. - Identify new revenue opportunities throughout the customer value chain for business maximization and profit improvement
- Work
with other functions within the Company to maximise performance and
control costs e.g. logistics and credit control; Intervenes in
tradeoffs required across the product groups or within a product group
for Key accounts - Proactively
manage an opportunity pipeline, closing all possible opportunities to
achieve a Gross Profit result in line with quarterly targets. - Nurture
client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction at all levels,
at all times and produce short term and long term measurable business
benefits. - Work
for Consultant relation and approvals for products at customer
place ie., EPC contractors, Electrical contractors, major industries,
major Utilities , major Channels, major dealers
