Job description:

  • Develop and implement quality plans for new products, test plans and project schedules
  • Plant quality Engineering support
  • Uses of Quality Tools & Documentation of Standard Room
  • Quality support
  • Fully support all new products APQP, PPAP
  • Supplier Assessment
  • Inspection of plastic , Rubber, Sheet metal & Machine component
  • Ensure timely completion of all project activities.
  • Ensure there are no safety incidents or recordable injuries in the plant

Job description:

  • Drawing Review for Outsourced Part.
  • Responsible for vendor development activities, sample verification at supplier, incoming material inspection (plastic, rubber, Casting /Forging Parts and sheet metal components) and monitoring supplier performance
  • Supplier Initial visit and Manufacturing Feasibility review.
  • Technical Review with Purchase, Engineering and Supplier.
  • Initial System Assessment of Supplier + Upgradation – Risk Assessment and Actions to take care of risks.
  • Development Kickoff Meeting addressing all process and product details – Raw Material to Packaging.
  • APQP Monitoring – Machine, Fixture and Gauges Details.
  • Development Reviews.
  • Sample Verification.
  • PPAP Documentation Development and Review.
  • PPAP Verification with Plant Trial.
  • PPAP Approval.
  • Actions on Supplier issues for reducing PPM.
  • Product and Process Audits to assure System adherence.
  • Incoming material inspection (Plastic, Rubber, Casting /Forging Parts and Sheet Metal components).
  • Cost reduction through Bench marking and developing alternate sources.
  • Support line by 100% inspection in rare occasions to avoid line stoppage.
